Yellowstone National Park – The largest ‘Natural Beauty’
Yellowstone National Park was coined as the First National Park in America in 1872 and is a galore of almost 300 geysers, abundance wildlife and plentiful geothermal energies. Sharing a boundary with Utah, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho, 96% of the park is situated in Wyoming.
We decided to visit this place to celebrate my brother’s 40th birthday, since it was his wish to revisit the place he had visited when he was merely three.
We planned a three day trip to Yellowstone National Park trip and entered the park from the West Entrance which is in Wyoming. On the first day we visited many small geysers and the famous Old Faithful Geyser. We encountered Bison the first day. Our next destination on that day was visiting the most colorful Grand Prismatic Geyser.
The next day we visited the geyser at Norris Basin. This one was jutting from the earth’s surface like a steam engine. This place was mesmerizing with so many color variations. We also visited the beautiful and serene Yosemite River, a primary source of water for all the wildlife.
The third day our journey went North to see the beautiful Lamar Valley and Wildlife. Sadly we didn’t encounter any other species except herds of Bison lazing around. The north Yellowstone has absolutely no Geothermal energies. A stark difference from the west!
Our 3 days journey was nearing its end. This place had struck a cord bringing all nostalgic memories. Like how a a kid in candy store feels leaving the place, Yellowstone National Park had similar effect. Check boxing one of my top most bucket list, the place, nature, geysers and wildlife were etched forever.
